Licensed accommodation & desert tours · Wadi Rum, Jordan
Two ways to sleep in the desert. Staying more than one night? You are welcome to mix them.

Rates include dinner, breakfast and transfers to and from the village.

Deep inside the protected area, far from the village.
A no-through road means no jeep traffic. Just silence and stars.
Two large caves at Um Rashid, sheltered and with breathtaking views.
Friendly Bedouin guides who know every canyon and story.
Pick-ups from the Visitor Centre or Rum Village.
On arrival we light a fire and make tea while your host cooks a zarb, a Bedouin barbecue of chicken and vegetables cooked underground. After dinner we share stories of Bedouin life, the Romans and the Nabateans, then the stars come out. Wake to sunrise over the desert.
Families with children of all ages are very welcome. We slow our jeep tours to a gentle pace. Children can climb and sledge down the dunes on our sand board, ride camels, help gather firewood and learn about rock inscriptions and Bedouin culture. Meals can be adapted with plain, unspiced food.
Payment is in cash (Jordanian Dinars) only. There are no banks or ATMs in Wadi Rum Village, so bring enough for your stay.

There is a power socket in each tent and charging points in the communal tent. Yes, we have wifi.
We provide all bedding and camping gear, plus bottled water and tea. There is no bathroom at the cave, but guests use the toilets and shared showers in the nearby camp. Bring a head torch if you can.
Luxury tents for single, double, family or group occupancy, all with en-suite bathrooms.
Cash in Jordanian Dinars only. Hot air balloon rides can be paid by card at the launch site.
