Tour Details
Your guide will meet you either at your camp or at the visitors car park in Wadi Rum village, which is a 5 minute drive further on from the visitor's centre. All visitors must pay an entrance fee of 5JD at the visitor's centre, (free entry with the Jordan Pass). Parking in the village is free of charge.
All our tours are private so we can be flexible on start times to suit your needs. Usually tours start between 9-10am. Full day, half day afternoon, and sunset tours end approximately 30 minutes after sunset.
All our guides speak both English and Arabic.
We request when sport climbing you kindly bring your own shoes.
All our tour itineraries are flexible and we can discuss specific options at the time of booking, or the at beginning of the tour. Specific add ons can be arranged such as camel riding, sandboarding, climbing or trekking. Just ask!

All payments should be made in cash (JD) at the end of your stay. please note there are no banks or ATM machines in Wadi Rum Village.

Half Day Tour
Experience the best of the desert in half a day. This compact tour is a thrilling off-road adventure through the desert landscape, taking some of the most famous sites. You will explore both by car and on foot, whilst giving you time to take photographs and sip Bedouin tea.

Enjoy a full day in the magnificent desert. This tour is an adventure-packed journey through the stunning desert landscape. Guests can explore the hidden treasures of Wadi Rum, including ancient rock inscriptions and the magnificent natural rock bridges.
Around midday your guide will find a suitable beauty spot where you can enjoy a tradional Bedouin lunch cooked over an open fire.

Two Hour (Sunset) Tour
Our shortest tour can be scheduled for any time of day, but is particularly popular at sunset. Let your guides drive you to a selection of the main sites before choosing the perfect, tranquil, sunset viewing point. They will make a fire on the desert floor and brew fresh Bedouin tea for you to sip, whilst you witness the breathtaking spectacle of its rich colours and dramatic silhouettes changing before your eyes.

Camel Tours
All our tours can be customised. Why not start your tour of the desert at a more leisurely pace by adding on one of our camel rides? Typically this gentle and peaceful experience starts in the village and you enjoy a relaxing ride through the desert to Lawrence Spring. This takes one hour, and the price includes a camel handler and one camel per person.

One Day and One Night Tour
Take a full day seeing the main sites and landmarks of Wadi Rum protected area. You will travel by 4x4 and take in the full wonder of the desert. The tour will include a traditional lunch and dinner, accommodation in a Star Beds tent, and breakfast will be served in the morning. If you prefer to upgrade to sleep in Falcons Nest it is an extra 10 JD per person.

This two day tour has a flexible itinery. We will take in all the main desert landmarks and locations, but are afforded time to go deeper into the desert. Please discuss options with your friendly guide at the start of the tour. We can arrange trekking, or climbing wih varying degrees of difficulty.

Hot Air Balloon Rides
Hot air balloon tours in Wadi Rum offer a unique and breathtaking perspective of the desert landscape. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful and serene flight over the red sand dunes, towering rock formations and scenic valleys. Hot air balloon tours take place early in the morning, when the weather is calm and the desert is bathed in the soft light of sunrise. The tour lasts for around one hour and visitors can marvel at the stunning panoramic views and take plenty of photos.
